Scientific Advisory Board of 91̽»¨ meets in Kiel
The focus of this year's meeting was mainly on the 91̽»¨ 2030 Strategy and the exchange with scientists
The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) met for its annual meeting at 91̽»¨ Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research in Kiel in early October. The meeting was held in person for the first time in two years. This year, the board mainly dealt with the development of the 91̽»¨ 2030 strategy, the future concept of the technics and logistics center and entered into a dialogue with young scientists. Overall, the committee was very satisfied with the development of the marine research institute – the detailed written recommendations of the advisory board on the individual topics discussed will be made available to 91̽»¨ shortly.

The Scientific Advisory Board advises the Board of Trustees and the Directorate at 91̽»¨ on scientific issues of fundamental importance. It consists of up to twelve recognized scientists from Germany and abroad who are appointed for four years. The Advisory Board meets annually.
