Marine Munition in Europe - Solutions with Economic and Ecological Profits for Efficient Remediation
The MMinE-SwEEPER project will advance knowledge, capability and capacity in Europe for dealing with marine munition in the nonmilitary aspect of UXO-clearance. 20 partners from 7 EU (Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Poland and Spain) and 2 associated countries (Norway, UK) bring experience and capabilities from the civil science community, military research, coast/border guards or EOD-services as well as industry and intergovernmental organization into the projects. A strong focus is placed on specific technological developments, but also on stakeholder dialog, transferring and sharing knowledge across Europe.
MMinE-SwEEPER is a project funded by the European Commission in Horizon Europe - HORIZON Research and Innovation Action (Cluster 3: Civil Security for Society; HORIZON-CL3-2023-BM-01; REA Grant Agreement No. 101167839) with EURO 5.9 million. The project runs from 1st October 2024 to 31st March 2028.
MMinE-SwEEPER is funded by the European Union.
