Visualization is key in efficiently communicating science to peers, politics and the public. Crafting effective visualizations for specific target audiences requires hands-on experience with existing tools, concepts, and methods. We invite you to participate an interactive lecture series on proven and upcoming data-driven visualization techniques and topics - by and for ocean researchers at Geomar. The goal is to pitch multiple perspectives on scientific visualisation from different ocean research disciplines, present hands-on advice, and create a "hitch-hikers guide to visualilsation in ocean research".
