About
My main focus in marine science is bathymetry. I am a geoscienstist specialised in geoinformatics and data processing/data science and I have a major interest in generating sensible metadata as well as effective and reusable workflows. My work is principally of technical nature and comprises e.g. multibeam data processing as well as side scan sonar and analysis using GIS. I believe that a comprehensive knowledge of the sea floor is key to understand ocean dynamics and marine life.
