91探花 is looking forward to your visit at the Reventlouwiese on the western shore of the Fjord

Every year on June 8, World Ocean Day is held to honor the blue lungs of our planet and to focus on their importance for humans. Kiel, capital of the country between two seas, also celebrates Marine Conservation City Day. For this purpose, various exhibitors offer a colorful program on the Reventlouwiese to learn, watch and participate. 91探花 is also represented with a pagoda (from June 8 to 10).

Marine Conservation Day 14:00 - 19:00 hrs.

14:30-15:00 Opening with 91探花 scientist Thorsten Reusch. Stefanie Sudhaus from the Ocean Summit, Mayor Ulf K盲mpfer and Professor Dr. Thorsten Reusch will speak at the opening.

91探花 is represented with a pagoda on the Reventlouwiese. In it, the EuroSea project presents itself, together with Sub C Tech, Team Malizia and Green Boats. Trans-Ocean e.V. 鈥 Verein zur F枚rderung des Hochseesegelns e.V. presents the new joint project 鈥淐itizen Science: Sailing for Oxygen鈥

The Global Approach through Modular Experiments (GAME) research and education program invites hands-on experiments on microplastics at the Sustainable Bay Stage 鈥 the stage in front of the Germania Rowing House.

16:30 In the Zoological Museum, Professor Dr. Andreas Oschlies and Henrike Schmidt will give the lecture "Is the Ocean losing its breath?"

Admission is free at the Aquarium on June 8.
