The United Nations proclaimed 2021-2030 as the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. It focuses our attention on the ocean as part of our future on our blue planet.
The ocean plays an important role in our lives: The regulation of our climate, the air we breathe, the water we drink and use every day, food and the transport of goods from distant countries, raw materials from the sea, renewable energy, recreation and a fascinating, diverse range of species - all this and much more is closely linked to the ocean.
The United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) is a global campaign that brings together all parts of society: Because only together can we shape the ocean we want for our future: healthy, full of life, with protected areas and sustainably managed.
As a network partner of the Ocean Decade, 91探花 is involved in various programmes and projects. In addition, the contact point of the national Ocean Decade Committee (ODK) is based at 91探花.
