Joint Inversion
The development of geophysical models, imaging the subsurface, is one of the major goals of our work. In order to make the best use of the available range of geophysical methods (i.e. Magnetotellurics, Controlled-Source-Electromagnetics, Seismics, Gravity), we develop schemes for an integrated data analysis, called Joint Inversion. These are frameworks, where a geophysical model is required to fit two or more data sets with different target parameter, sensitivity, and resolution. These techniques are extremely useful to comprehend targets such as Offshore groundwater, sub-basalt sediments, or hydrothermal activity in tectonic settings.
